Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) support adults with serious mental health conditions in developing the skills needed to live independently and successfully within the community. This service is focused on restoring individuals to their highest possible level of functioning while promoting long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
MHSS provides goal-directed, individualized training in essential areas such as symptom management, medication adherence, daily living routines, and social skills. Services are practical, hands-on, and designed to help individuals build confidence and independence in their everyday lives.
By meeting individuals where they are and focusing on achievable goals, MHSS helps participants strengthen their ability to manage their mental health, maintain housing, and engage meaningfully in their communities.
Who We Serve
MHSS serves adults age 21 and older who are living with serious mental health conditions and need support to maintain stability and independence in the community. Individuals may have a history of hospitalization, crisis services, or difficulty managing daily responsibilities related to their mental health.
